Our Services

CILCP services are offered in Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Mifflin, and Perry Counties. However, some services are provided in other designated counties and statewide.

We serve as a comprehensive hub, connecting individuals with disabilities in Central Pennsylvania to essential resources, services, and supports that promote independent living.

Peer Mentoring

Our program matches individuals with disabilities who have similar experiences or goals, providing a supportive network for guidance, encouragement, and shared problem-solving on the path to greater independence.

Advocacy

Systems Advocacy: We actively work to dismantle barriers and promote systemic change to ensure the full inclusion and equal rights of people with disabilities in all aspects of community life.

Self Advocacy: Our dedicated team empowers individuals with disabilities to understand their rights, navigate systems, and advocate for themselves and their peers on issues that impact their independence.

Youth Transition

We work with young adults with disabilities in Central Pennsylvania, offering guidance in areas like self-advocacy, career exploration, independent living skills, and community involvement, empowering them to achieve their goals for adulthood.

Nursing Home Transition

This program provides person-centered planning and advocacy to facilitate the smooth and empowering transition of individuals with disabilities and older adults from institutional settings to community-based homes, ensuring access to needed services and supports..

Skills Training

We provide tailored training and resources to help individuals with disabilities acquire and strengthen the skills necessary for successful independent living, fostering self-reliance and community integration.
